After years of collecting egg cartons and patiently waiting, we finally found our country property and began our journey with a few chickens. We were immediately hooked and quickly became keen to expand our flock. We had no idea we would have so much fun with their unique personalities, how much joy and happiness they would bring us, and what wonderful pets they would become!

    Following our introduction to Swedish Flower Hens, we fell deeply in love with them…their beauty, amazing personalities, and their history as a landrace breed at risk. We felt strongly about doing our part to help preserve them and knew they would forever be an important part of our farm.

    We have since become increasingly interested in rare, heritage breed poultry, and chose breeds that captured our hearts and that we felt a deep connection with. Fascinated by egg color genetics and the endless possibilities of colored egg projects, we are always thinking and planning ahead for exciting and fun new crosses.

    We are a small farm and like it that way! It is important to us that our birds can live the life that we personally feel is best for them. Our birds live in family-style flocks, spend their days outside in large, fenced grass paddocks attached to their coops, are well socialized and spend A LOT of time with their people! Our focus is happy and healthy birds with great temperaments and lovely egg color. All of our birds are pets and well-loved family members.
